Popular Post Nail it Posted July 2, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted July 2, 2018 Well after both my wife and myself went on a driving day at Silverstone to try the 718 range, my wife was hooked. She won't drive my car as she is to scared in case she damaged it, she should see the way I drive it some times lol. After being scared of driving a car with Pdk, she loved it once she got behind the wheel of one and after a great day we came away and for days after she was still talking about the day. So being the great husband I am lol, I took her over to Silverstone Porsche so she could pick her car, after some advise from myself we decided that a nice 981 would be better for use than the new 718's that we drove and so we have a nice boxster being sorted right now. Nail it Posted July 13, 2018 Author Share Posted July 13, 2018 Well we have it and been driving about tonight in it and must say it's very nice. Very different to the GT4 as that dombards you every second with what's going on and makes you feel part of the car, where the boxster is happy to cruising along in it's own way making you feel happy with life and I must say I rather liked it. Yes it hasn't got the shout or bark of the 4 nor does it go round courners quite as well, but with it's PDK box it's quick enouth and with the roof down and the sun out, it was a very nice place to be. So feeling very happy with the purchase and also very lucky to have 2 great cars to drive that are very similar but at the same time very different 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
