Just woken up and can smell the sausages already....

now to raise SWMBO 'from the dead' in time for her to 'do hair', apply 'face paint', choose from 17 different outfits and get on the road by 08:30... ?

Looking forward to meeting the club. ??

See you all there, my last official outing in the CR :|

Have I missed something? What's happening to the CR?

Help, how do I delete a duplicate post?

Good to see lots of other Cayman's some lovely cars there especially the pair of GT4's, nice to chat to a few of you too. After driving through the rain this morning mine was somewhat dirty but all clean again now it's home.

Great to meet so many like minded and really approachable folk. Thanks S3 AKR (sorry I'm terrible at remembering names) for letting me 'feel your wheel' - a shiny sports design steering wheel is definitely on the wish list now. And I found my sunglasses - the misses was sat on them! ?

Great 'the works' breakfast bap too - great start to the day ??.

Thanks for arranging Beanoir.

Good to get to meet some of you in person and talk about the stuff that bores the Mrs solid!! Even a requests from someone I didn't previously know to "feel my wheel" seemed [almost] normal!!

My son was in awe at the GT4's and loved his sit in the drivers seat - was talking about it a fair bit of the way home before falling asleep after his early start this morning so for him it was worth the 4 hour round trip just for that - thank you.

There was some talk of trying to make this a regular event. I hope so, as forums work well the more the members get to know one another, plus it's a great excuse to nip out of a Sunday morning to grab a breakfast bap.

Cheers,

Andy

I (foolishly and completely unintentionally) tried to leave at the exact same time they were amassing together at the exit and got trapped in the middle of them.

Just turned off the engine and sat there till they'd all 'roared off' - didn't want to find myself at the wrong end of a hells angel stylee 'dust up'... ?

Well that was the biggest gathering of scooters I've ever seen and that was probably the best bacon roll I've ever had!

Great to talk to a few of you.  Beanoir, I have to say you've got your priorities all wrong - who needs a house when you've got a Cayman R!

And beeby11, sorry I was the last one left when you arrived but I'm sure you'd have got the same enthusiastic pitch from the rest of the guys and gals.  Just get one bought!

I know, but i've been living with the CR now in lieu of a house, so its time to switch.  I will be back in a Cayman or least another Porsche in the not to distant future that I am sure of!

Good turn out today guys, great to meet some new faces and very sorry for my late entrance!

Sounds like Saturday's would be a better day up there if we keep to that venue, although i'm not sure how popular Saturday meets are....???
