just ask the bag manufacturer if they have an  in-house embroidery service, , many can do this. Cost is based on stitch count. I have a small Brother machine set up in the loft and I managed to buy a Porsche logo pattern on line that came on a CD. it was about £5. my machine is pretty basic but made a nice job pf a polo shirt. so a professional embroidery machine should do a great job. If the bag company cant do it in house, you could try asking them for a piece of material from the intended bag with a pencilled outline of the part pattern on it and take this to an embroidery specialist to get the logo stitched on where you want it to end up on the finished bag then return it to the manufacturer for assembly

My mum has a very expensive sewing machine. The edge thingy I bought for her birthday cost twice what a regular sewing machine costs and this was an attachment.

If you could send me the file I could get her to knock one up on her machine and take a look at the quality. Does it tell you what colours are needed. Can you get threads in Pantone?!

My embroidery machine is a Brother and uses a . PES file format. this is bespoke to Brother machines. this is how it came out on a dark blue polo.IMG_1749.JPG

Mum mother's machine is a Brother and she will do a few test pieces if you send me the file.

I've spoken to Bag-World, and been given a personnel email address for the owner. I've emailed asking what he needs to give us a price.

If he needs to see a car, anyone around Reddich?

Cheers

Gary

Sorry Graham, missed this post. I've not done any more with it as yet, going to get my car inspected next week and see if there are any more urgent things to do first.

Cheers

Are we talking about the bagworld ones or the original Montrose set?

I like both nut tbink the latter more cost effective for me...I’d go with black or grey black! Even better if we can get the Porsche crest. Quick browse thru the site and althoughi haven’t got a tape measure out I think can also get almost fitted for front & back trunks!

I did measurements and got quotes off Montrose.

I think I will order a set and post the results.

I do t have a tape measure handy but the sizes quoted above look a little small  for frunk. Where they for the boot?

As I posted on the 23 January:

Quote

1 x White PVC bag, L17” x D16” x H11” as per sketch provided - £45.20

1 x White PVC bag, L16” x D12” x H9” - £40.40

Delivery to any UK mainland address  £10.00

These prices are subject to Vat

Lead time is currently 2 – 3 weeks

So you need 2 of each.

Just mailed a bunch of Porsche crest sellers on ebay to see if we can get a bulk discount.
