Anyone into Photography?

Kev, you clearly have talent and an eye for it. My wife bought me a d3200 last year, I try but alas I'm not very good. I recently got a nice 35mm 50mm equivalent prime to help me try and get those depth of field shots. I'm getting there but I find I nearly always shoot in aperture priority mode and leave the rest in auto. I don't tend to shoot moving objects. I take it for that then I would need shutter priority fast for crisp images, slightly slower for those with a stationary object and blurred background.

Some good shots there Kev, no wonder you earn a crust from it.  I like to try to take photos, I've always had friends in the industry so dabbled a bit from an early age but I'm not good by any stretch.

Did some this summer on my trip, one in Reims...

And a couple of favourites of mine from Porsches at the Castle a couple of years ago...

Thanks man, the trick is practice.

Yeah Panning is a bit of an art. It does take practice. Your trajectory on the rear pan of the GT3 is always changing that's half of the difficulty.

I would imagine trying to get a panning shot of Ken block in that thing is near impossible.. He's permanently changing direction and spinning all over the shot....One hell of a driver though!

wow some great photos there, very impressive!

love the black & white garage shot in original post and the 997? exiting the Karoussel. Some great panning shots too! always the trickiest to get right. Those last two art shots are pretty tasty too, keep 'em coming! :)

Great pics Red Square! Some other goodens there too

I bought a Canon digital SLR many years ago but I found by the time I had got everything sorted I'd missed the shots. Taking pics in the auto setting was not as good as my pocket Pentax camera at the time and now it is nowhere near as good as my phone :(
