Popular Post Red Square Images
Good morning all, Just wondered if there were any photographers (amateur or professional) on here? I do a bit to earn a crust so thought I might share some Porsche orientated ones for you:
markbarry1977
Kev, you clearly have talent and an eye for it. My wife bought me a d3200 last year, I try but alas I'm not very good. I recently got a nice 35mm 50mm equivalent prime to help me try and get those depth of field shots. I'm getting there but I find I nearly always shoot in aperture priority mode and leave the rest in auto. I don't tend to shoot moving objects. I take it for that then I would need shutter priority fast for crisp images, slightly slower for those with a stationary object and blurred background. Founder Beanoir™ Posted January 10, 2016 Founder Share Posted January 10, 2016 Some good shots there Kev, no wonder you earn a crust from it. I like to try to take photos, I've always had friends in the industry so dabbled a bit from an early age but I'm not good by any stretch. Did some this summer on my trip, one in Reims... And a couple of favourites of mine from Porsches at the Castle a couple of years ago...
Red Square Images
I love the black and whites. They're mega. To be honest I struggled to find some Porsche related ones from 2015. I just thought It might start a discussion.

Founder Popular Post Beanoir™ Posted January 10, 2016 Founder Popular Post Share Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Moving shots can be really hard, I've practiced panning shots so many times and find it takes about 50 frames to get one half ok in focus photo if I'm lucky! Did some at Prescott Hillclimb the other year, one or two Porsche related.. Edited January 10, 2016 by Beanoir
Red Square Images
Yeah Panning is a bit of an art. It does take practice. Your trajectory on the rear pan of the GT3 is always changing that's half of the difficulty. He's permanently changing direction and spinning all over the shot....One hell of a driver though!

Andy Fagan
Great pics Red Square! Some other goodens there too I bought a Canon digital SLR many years ago but I found by the time I had got everything sorted I'd missed the shots. Taking pics in the auto setting was not as good as my pocket Pentax camera at the time and now it is nowhere near as good as my phone
