GTP
I'd be very interested to hear what your thoughts on the springs are vs the stock set up for ride quality- I normally favor Eibach products for an oem ride and was thinking about getting some springs but I'm considering leaving it and getting the Bilstien PSS kit at a later date ie, when it needs shocks! Popular Post vwhatton
there will be loads of progress pics of this on monday. last night i removed the carbon wrap that on the dash made the dash look to dark. so took it all off and wrapped it in the same red as the car. looks so much better than the carbon

Trickle
I have never attempted this on mine, how was it all, any seized bolts or ought?
vwhatton
the fronts are rather easy if you drop the whole hub out the backs are a diffrent story as you can see from the pics how much needs to be taken off just to get the strut out. also half the boot trim needs to be removed just to get to the top nuts to remove the strut. i have done all this work my self so saved quite a few quid. as for bolts the main drop link bolts that go through the hub were quite hard to get out being a steel bolt into a alloy hub. 987Monkey
The rears are a nightmare, well done for giving it a go yourself though. Did you replace the bottom wishbones or are they ok? Hows it looking with new springs? Edited February 2, 2016 by 987Monkey

Popular Post vwhatton
on the rollers it did 290. but we had a slight problem when the car was taken off the rollers. the rear hand brake shoes on the drivers side got stuck on just as it ws being taken out of the work shop. the springs that hold the shoes in place had snapped. looks like it has been like that for a while and the high speed runs didnt help. so had to order new springs from porsche that i had picked up last night at the cost of £87 for 4 small springs. doing both sides whilst the car is in the work shop. here is the rear brake shoe and the other side with the springs in place
Popular Post vwhatton
Another update on the porsche spent last night wraping the backs of the seats in red to match the car brighten the inside
Founder Beanoir™ Posted February 5, 2016 Founder Share Posted February 5, 2016 Cracking job on those seats, great idea and I bet it didn't cost much either. Did the vinyl go on ok without too much in the way of wrinkles/bubbles? I've clocked the heat gun!
