It's just an hour on the Sunday Sessions at Hethel, but hopefully a good first outing for the CR. I was out in the first session, track was still wet but not much standing water so not too bad. The Michelin PSS are incredible and amazed they find grip where they do sometimes. The track at Hethel is a test track and doesn't hold race events, but due to the nature of the job it was built for (developing Lotus cars) it's quite technical. They only let 15 cars out in each session and group them into certain categories, so you're unlikely to have say a £60k car in the same category as a £500 snotter. I had one car pass me to my memory, and the rest of the session was clear track in front and behind, really good. CR was great, far more capable than me! No stone chips, to be honest the track was clean, to be honest from my experience far more likely to pick up stone chips on the road than on a track...unless you come off into a gravel trap maybe..? Refurb the wheels at Lepsons then hopefully some Carnewal sport headers and GT exhaust.
