'Leather Interior Package in Special Colour' sounds interesting.

Must be the black over red leather one...

hmmm that is interesting as it got me thinking about the Williams Crawford two black R's, of which one had the red leather interior.

Now I notice Williams Crawford aren't listing those anymore on AT (though are on their site) and this other company bjccarsales is listing two black R's (one with this special interior colour). Weird huh how they have changed hands dealer to dealer as the mileage specs match up exactly.

Perhaps it was some dealer-to-dealer deal, or felt the location of the bjccarsales was more suitable?  maybe a deal between them that included this new one Williams Crawford have which already went to Reserved status straight away today.

Yet that Silver one is £50K, which has pretty much the same mileage (give or take a few hundred) as the black one with the red interior (which has ceramics/buckets etc) yet it is £6K more expensive? How they reach that price is anyones guess?!

Interestingly, this car which has been for sale on several occasions over the last 12 months has had its price increased! Pistonheads

I'm in the market for a PDK Peridot Green and can't help but think its a poor spec example. It's only worthy feature being the seats which isn't (in my eyes) enough to justify the asking price.

I'm sure I saw it for sale last year about September time for £41k give or take. Clearly it didn't sell. For anyone asking, he had it up for £42995 which has now been increased to £47995.

The markets just stupid ATM.

I see some on forums etc. trying to explain that this is the new normal for a few years. I call BS...

It seems to have sold at long last. Maybe the final roll of the dice with a higher price sealed it? You are right though, it was low spec as R's with buckets go.

maybe, but seems add to do so during this crazy time of car prices. I guess time will tell when/if we see it listed again.

There other R is listed.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106284335895?

it is nice, but then again i am biased on Solid Black.

But at £47K, vs £37K I paid for my solid black R, and over this one mine has buckets, chrono, less miles, 1 less owner,  one year younger, extended leather.... its all gone nuts hasn't it!

I get the higher pricing when the spec is high, but some of these prices are getting silly now. I know I said one day we'll see R's start with a 6, but even so, this black one at 47K with low spec seems very optimistic.

To illustrate this...this one is 4K less, same spec and mileage and with Chrono and Offical Porsche warranty until 2023

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106234132261?

There used to be rhyme and reason to pricing, but now it seems illogical

Ashgood's trying to raise the ceiling on 987 Spyder values... £55k !!

https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-details/Used-Porsche-Boxster-987-Spyder-For-Sale-U2533

It does look epic though in that colour! but yep prices are remaining mad out there.

I have read numerous articles suggesting this will now continue through to 2023!

Who are righting these articles though?

...all these clairvoyants soon disappear when things turn out differently.

Lad on PH inquired about that Sasso Automotive R on for £51k.  He's got a 987.2 manual with 50k miles and asked for a part-ex price...you guessed it ...£20k .  So it's fine for the R values to go thru the roof the last 6 months but his lovely 987.2S can't LOL.  And his car had A/C unlike their R

From what I can of Sasso they'd then put it up for sale for £40k!

If he likes the Sasso one, he'd be better off selling privately and then buying this

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106193989945?

As its not far off spec wise, just higher mileage, which might make it more drivable (less fear of putting on miles) ...i am surprised that one hasn't sold as seems the most fairly priced in this strange time.

The state of the photos you do really wonder what some private sellers are at...you're trying to sell the dream here...

It is back on PH

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/10567965

guess the advert expired then at the time. Retains the higher price. Feels optimistic. Since you mentioned Andy about the market slowing, I am indeed seeing it winding down (prices rather than activity) more and more now....across 911's too.

Yeah, putting it up £5k recently was a stroke of marketing genius!!

"Porsche valued this particular car at £50k last January"...he's referring to a letter from Jan 2019 so shows how long it;s been up for sale.  If you couldn't shift an R in this most recent Spring used car madness then you need to rethink things...

another £50K one, minus a fiver.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202107104861749?

no chrono but low miles and PSE. Will be interesting to see if this sells over the Sasso one. Seems that private sale white one at £40K has gone.

Anyhow, reason for my query is I thought what was the give away on Xenon lights is they come with the washer tips. This black one is listed with Xenons yet no tips? is that right? can Xenons have come from factory without the tips?
