Seized calipers

Recommended Posts

Hi al,

in my previouse 987.2 at around 45k miles I had to get the front calipers reconditioned because the pistons were seized.

Luckily I found this place where they did a great work and it did cost half of the price of replacing the calipers (with 2nd hand calipers).

Now I have got a 981 (2016) and at 52k miles on I had to do the same for the same reason.

I was wondering if anybody had similar experince?

Is it just because I don't use it that much or is it something due to the milage? It seems it is something quite common...or not?

Thanks Andrea
