Bushman
Hi guys. whats the general scuttlebutt regarding driving an S through the winter, looks like I might have to sell my Explorer that would drive through anything so I'm a bit worried about wide summer boots with minimal tread patterns on wet shitty cold roads. is it advisable to get a cheap set of Boxster rims and narrower winter rubber? all opinions welcome. cheers. Webdunk
I used 18" winters - Sottozeros - on the R;. Up where I am, they're pretty much mandatory. They make a huge difference which leaves my only winter driving problem as ground clearance ;-)
DJMC
I almost bought a set of winters but didn't. I reckon, in Leicestershire, there would have been a few days use only last winter. More days over 7 degrees than under!
