Had a photo-shoot with Charlie from Street Culture UK this weekend just gone. Was an awesome drive down to Dartmoor and really got to stretch the cars legs. And then topped off with some awesome pictures!!

I love that C5 series RS6. I was thinking about trading in my Cayman S for one plus cash, but seeing how much dwarfs your Cayman has slightly put me off, not sure I could handle owning such an enormous car! Back to the drawing board!

This car and thread has so many ideas running through my head.

ive modified and tracked a lot of my cars. Clio 172, Audi S3 8L, Honda Civic EP3, Subaru Impreza turbo 2000 and a BMW M135i which I took to the ring.

Recently traded the bmw for my cayman S and already feel the need to modify! Great build and a great inspiration. I’m sure it won’t be long until my parts start stacking up!

Tom, if it helps, I did a post a while back about drilling a 40mm ish diameter hole through the transmission bash plate so that you can get to the drain plug without having to strip off the rear chassis brace bars that always have seized bolts and then wrestle off the bash plate. cant remember the exact hole centre position from memory but it is left and forward of the small drain hole. hope this might help mate. New update.

So a few weeks back I went up to Birmingham to visit the guys at Pro Drift Achedemy for their drift taster session.

It was a lot of fun and I would recommend it to anyone interested in going sideways on purpose. 🤣

Anyway while there I thought we should visit the city centre and do a bit of shopping before hand.

Opted to park in the self ridges multistory as it seemed the most secure and also noted to have larger than avergerage spaces. Win win so it would seem.

After never handing too much trouble in multistories before. Maybe a bit of scrap age but nothing major we headed in. Now some numpty decided it would be a great idea to put a tall abrupt speed bump right at the bottom of an up ramp just slightly up the slope so instantly making it basicly a big wall to crash into.

Neadless to say I hit it, big crunch, then scraping and finally a bit thud as something was run over.

And here is the aftermath...

So that was that, messed up wrap, splitter in 3 bits and a lot of curse words spoken.

So while drowning my sorrows with a milkshake I decided to jump on ebay and see if anything was availible.

Now I've been looking at these gt4 bumpers for a while but never quite mustered the courage to get one, worried about fitment and being left with something that will cost a lot to out right. But it just so happens one was on ebay new and for half the price of what they are new.

So obviously I jumped at the chance and went and collected it a few days later.

It looked pretty good off the car. Not too wavey and all mounting points looked sensible. So I took the plunge to get it on the car. Expecting the worst...

It really wasn't that bad atal. A few minor areas of adjustment but really it fit very well for an aftermarket bumper.

A little but of fettling got it much better, starting to blend the shut lines in more around key areas.

And finally.....

Its on and looking bloody brilliant if I do say so myself. Now just to wait for it to be painted and then finally wrapped and the car will be better than ever. Plus I also had the led spars chucked into the price which was a bonus!!

Spring can't come soon enough. ☀️

No real updates on the car as still searching for new wheels. So here is a picture of it in the sun for no other reason than because it looks pretty 😂
