Fly back to UK late on Saturday but unless delayed should be there (perhaps not first thing though). Great event last year.

If you do come then Mick, just let me know because then I'll save you a spot.

Then you can race me home ;)

Please assume I will be there. Racing on the M25 will be like a slow bicycle race though. Sorry to admit it but after 10 hours travelling on Sat I will probably take the boring and direct route home rather than show imagination and find something interesting.

We can meet somewhere nearby ahead first and arrive together.

I'm staying at the Bucklers the night before so I'll already be in the area, are others stopping over the night?

What time are you planning to arrive if travelling as a group?

I live about 15 miles from Beaulieu and know that the following places have good car parks and are quite close to the M27.......

Morrissons supermarket http://your.morrisons.com/Store-finder/Store-Details/?recordid=364

The Empress of Blandings Pub (they host the monthly PCGB meetings,  don't know if they'll meet there to travel to Beaulieu........ http://empressofblandings.co.uk/

The Vine Inn pub........ http://www.fayre-square.com/pub/vine-inn-ower-romsey/p1235/

Wyevale Garden Centre......... http://www.wyevalegardencentres.co.uk/garden-centres/Wyevale/Cadnam/LDK

M27 motorway services at Rownhams (could be busy/confusing with other clubs meeting up) http://motorwayservicesonline.co.uk/Rownhams

Goodwood Breakfast Club (Full Throttle) is also that day, probably a bit much to try and organise a meet down there although depending on time I might nip down there first.

Happy to just go along with any time and meeting place, we're local so can fit in with others.

Twopointnine - Was up your way a week or so back, went to The Mill Arms at Dunbridge, fantastic burger meal there, will be going back soon as we can!

Hi All,

I will be driving down on the day. The garden centre twopoint9 suggested looks like a good place to meet if people were up for that.

Bluedot, I may be up for popping into Goodwood, I didn't get an entry (BMW M6) and didn't realise the dates clashed until recently. What time does Simple Porsche start? I would like to get there early.

Vehicle entry to Simply Porsche is from 9:30 a.m. https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-porsche/

If people want to meet somewhere where you can get coffee/food and fuel then there's a Macdonalds and filling station just off M27 Junction 2 at Ower. Map

Of the other meeting places I suggested it's worth considering that the Morrisons supermarket ( http://your.morrisons.com/Store-finder/Store-Details/?recordid=364 )  opens at 10:00 on a Sunday, it has a cafe, and a petrol station (not sure if it does Porsche fuel though).

As I understand it there had to be 10 confirmed attendees for a club area, are we at that number?

Quick question, are we supposed to have bought our own tickets for this ?

I've held off doing anything until we had a bit more idea of what was being planned.

@Bluedot You will need to buy your own tickets yes.

The latest from the Beaulieu Events team confirms we have a reserved area and should arrive at 9:30am.  We should aim to arrive together if possible, although it's not strictly required if people are a) already there or b) arrive a bit late - but lets try and at least have the majority of us arrive at the same time if we can.

On that basis the plan is as follows:

8:30am - meet at McDonalds off M27 Junction 2 at Ower (as suggested by twopointnine). Map

8:50am - those who met at McDonalds can convoy to Beaulieu Motor Museum

9:30am - Gates open and stewards will direct us to our reserved area

If anybody who cannot meet at either McDonalds for 8:30am or at the Motor Museum for 9:30am then the stewards will park you up with us if you tell them you are with the club.

I will be staying the night before at the Master Builders so if you're in the area the night before then happy to meet up for a cheeky half.

If you are running late, need directions, or simply would like to hear my dulcet tones then PM me and I'll give you my mobile number.

Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!! :)

Nick

The quite compact car park at McDonalds is just on the right side of the restaurant as you face it. The route from there to Beaulieu is straightforward but this slight variation google maps may make it easier to stick together. Apparently Google Maps will enable you to send the directions to your phone but Firefox crashed when I tried it.
