    As you say Nick its not all about the numbers, but I'm happy with the result non the less. I only wish I'd done a dyno run when I purchased the car. The car ran 348 before the map so on face value the (assuming I was at 320 before) the IPD plenum + throttle body, filter, de snork, and GT exhaust gained around 28BHP, with the map picking up a further 25bhp. I'm at Bedford on 1st April so will be able to compare some data from last time out (assuming its dry). That should give me a good understanding of the actual gains.

    Pencil put on Friday 19th July then ... just need to confirm the format. When peopleandcars first mooted the idea last July he had just attended the Performance Driver 'Track' Day. This is our recommendation for the starting point for those who have not trained with us before. This is the overview fyi. Performance Driver ‘Track’ Day An action-packed day run by CAT Driver Training Ltd at Millbrook Proving Ground. The day is a fast moving experience for 6 owners and their cars to introduce the secrets of performance driving. It is designed to be informative, exciting and fun. The group size is purposefully kept small so that the maximum can be obtained from the day in a highly personalised environment. There is access to the 5 unique circuits at the renowned Millbrook Proving Ground, a venue that is not normally accessible for 'track days' and the general public. Activities designed for the different circuits are: · Learn threshold braking from high speed on the Mile Straight · High speed driving, potentially to the maximum of your car, on the banked circuit of the High Speed Circuit · Drive the demanding Alpine Route circuit with its hills, and variety of corners from hairpins to long and sweeping · Take on the tight, twisty and challenging Handling Circuit · Put your car through its paces on the open spaces of the Dynamics Pad/Steering Pad/Mile Straight Apron An instructor will accompany you on all the circuits, and the objective is to teach you how to get the best from your car and develop your performance driving skills in a controlled environment and at a pace you are comfortable with. Short presentations in vehicle dynamics will help you to understand the relationship between driver input and vehicle balance and control. From this comes the appreciation of how to safely drive your vehicle at grip limit within the controlled confines of a track environment. At the end of the day, your new found skills can be put to the test in a timed shoot out around a gymkhana-style course laid out on the Steering Pad/Mile Straight Apron.     Yup, that was a typo! I'm tempted to get another pair and see. If you have issues they ask you to cut the wires 🤨

    You'd have a different tyre height if you went with a 245/40 (the 40 is a percentage of the width). I'd almost be tempted to go with PS2, there aren't many options for the 18" wheels

    19th eminently doable , haven't experienced Millbrook for a few years (and then was in my daily driver....Volvo V50!)

    Great result, that said it was pretty strong beforehand too. Over 109bhp per litre with usable torque is impressive for any NA engine.

    ##In the interests of sharing and full disclosure, I've attached the 2 maps...1st is DMS's (they applied a mutiplier when printing it out so I never got to see the "At Wheel" numbers, but they suggested my engine was "very healthy" re its outputs before the map, no doubt in part due to the filter/Carnewal combo). The 3 maps on the next photo are for the 3 runs on Regal's Dynos and are "at wheel" numbers. I was sceptical of DMS's outputs initially (though the Backside Dyno definitely felt a difference), the later dyno run at Regal was for peace of mind (and came up with almost identical numbers)
