  1. Ac Condensers are really easy to DIY. Getting the bumper off and on again is the hardest part but even that is simple. I did mine in a couple of hours. Fittimy own GT3 master cylinder Nd and wished I hadn't. Ended up towing it to my local indy to do properly.. Coolant pipes are diyable but I got my indy to them...

  2. Worth buying a few spares of the 2 piece clips, I can't remember what they're called but the centre piece pushes through to hold them in... Otherwise, the screws are just self tappers (Philips head and the ones underneath are normally tore) and should be fine to re-use. You'll also need to strip the grills and fog light housing etc off the bumper too, which is a bit if a pain. The front splitter pieces too.

  3. Its actually pretty easy, just remember the screws that screw up behind the side repeaters, access them by opening the inner wheel well liner. Why don't you figure it out and do one of your wizzy-miller how-to guides? 'Windy Does Bumpers'

  4. With the year having just struck 2021, I would argue that not having cats is a little unjustifiable with what we know as a species to be true... we can each do our part. I don't want to derail my thread into a conversation about climate change and I would appreciate a separate thread for decats and its moralisation.

  5. So I returned the DesignTek valve actuator to D911 and bought an OE one from Silverstone OPC, which with PCGB / TIPEC discount cost £94 (incl VAT). Fitted it on Saturday - took <1hr, it’s just 3 nuts off with an 8mm ring-spanner, then ~2hrs to re-fit bumper & lights etc. All fixed so I now have ‘stealth’ mode back which should please the neighbours when I start up for early Sunday morning drives 😉😜. Photos of valve in ‘relaxed’ (no vacuum) sport mode, and retracted (under vacuum) quiet mode. The old one that I removed rattled when shook so was clearly broke
