Title: Cayman now available on your games console!

Well finally it’s arrived, you can now drive your favourite car whilst your P&J is tucked up in the garage.  Yes that’s right folks, on your games console (probably Xbox only).

Forza Horizon 4 has released screen shots of the latest edition to the game in the shape of a 718 GTS, looking pretty true to real life.

We look forward to hearing how it compares to the real thing and whether it’s been a faithful reproduction of the real thing.

Let us know if you’re lucky enough to be the owner of the real car and the game version!!

  • PDI - Porsche Design Innovations Custom parts

Hi everyone,    Having lost my job (professional car designer) due to Covid19 I've decided to focus on what I love doing and I'm passionate about and hopefully turn it into a business: designing custom parts for Porsche cars starting with the 987 platform initially.   The idea is to have a UK based business without the need to import from other countries, but equally I'd be happy to ship anywhere in the world. For us here in UK I see not may options and more importantly they

More dumb questions... 17s on Track?

Hi,   Has anybody used 17s on track? I have 18s on my 987 (2.7) and on track they perform very well with plenty of grip and good "progressiveness" (even with an aggresive geo). I also have a set of 17s in the shed which I used to use when tracking my old Boxster (they're 986 wheels but fit the 987 with a 5mm spacer on the rear). I've tried them quite a few times on the Cayman and on public roads they are great (they make the 18s feel like the car is wearing lead boots), they're also si

    crap headlights

Ive decided that my headlights are rubbish, I drive everyday to work and back  and look forward to each journey. I also need to look forward with my nose pressed against the windscreen just to see where I'm going. The wifes Honda is more illuminating.  Has anybody out there in Caymanland upgraded their headlights with either LEDs, 100 watt bulbs or HID conversions?. mine is fitted with basic  projector dip over std halogen mains.  any advice gratefully received.

    B8s and Cayman R springs

I can't remember who asked but I said that I would share my thoughts once I had fitted the Cayman R springs and Bilstein B8s to my 987 2.7. So here goes...   First off it is worth me pointing out a few things: 1. My old springs/shocks had 100k on them and so probably aren't a great benchmark 2. At the same time as installing the shocks/springs, I changed all of the rear arms (with polybushed coffin arms to match the front) 3. I am yet to have the car properly aligned (th

    Window whistle

Hi all My Cayman is suffering from another common issue I believe - wind noise eminating from the passenger window above 40mph. I've done some googling and it seems most people think it comes from the either the wing mirror or the window seal. Going to have a look at this at the weekend and just wondered if anyone else had experienced it and/or had any advice? Cheers

  • Cayman Market Watch Q2 2020

Welcome to Q2 of the Cayman Market Watch, our regular feature primarily to provide you with a view of pricing on the Porsche Cayman market.  Aimed at helping those selling or buying to make more informed decisions on price.     Cayman 718      The not so new 4 cylinder turbo car introduced in 2016 seems to be a veritable bargain at the moment, prices for private sales of the base 2.0L car with average mileage and a few options are now around £28-30k.  Think what you
