Popular Post Jasontillett
Had check engine light (visit workshop) come on.Done an OBD scan and came back with code P0159 which turns out to be faulty oxygen sensor bank 2 post cat. Purchased 2 brand new Bosch LS6697 oxygen sensors from eBay for £106 and decided to change both bank 1 and bank 2 myself. Once I had jacked back of car up and removed rear wheels, there was a small cover with one torx screw and two 10mm nuts holding it in place.Once removed you could access the sensors and remove them with a 22mm spanner. The most difficult part was unclipping the plugs which are quite fiddly. Once replaced new ones and refitted everything did another scan and reset. Engine now runs and idles a lot smoother and no more CEL. 1
