Firstly I would like to thank the admins for accepting me on the site and allowing me to promote the Red Rat Rally 2019. Very kind of you and much appreciated.

The Red Rat Rally sets off from Glasgow on Friday 6th September 2019 and follows a carefully planned 1200 mile route through Scotland. Taking 3 days with checkpoints at various stages, the rally concludes in Edinburgh on Sunday 8th September 2019.

This is an "all thrills, no frills" tour of some of the UK's best roads, taking in the best sights and scenery that Scotland has to offer. You will experience breathtaking coastal paths, mountain passes and lakeside roads. You don't need to head to the continent to experience some of Europes greatest driving roads.

We dont disguise long, mundane journeys with wild parties and call it a rally. First and foremost its about the driving experience and bringing like minded people together. Whether you are a petrol head or an adventurer, the Red Rat Rally is definitely one for the bucket list. We encourage rally goers to socialise in the checkpoint towns and cities but this is more organic fun than forced participation.

Unlike similar events, there is no restriction on the value, age or make & model of the vehicle you use to participate. As long as its road legal and you have all of your particulars, you're all set.

Entry to the Red Rat Rally is just £35 per person. For safety reasons, there is a minimum requirement of 2 participants per vehicle to share the driving time. Spaces are limited and are offered on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for entries is the 2nd of August 2019.
