Popular Post el_gringo
Porsche Cayman S (Gen 2) 3.4 Manual, Atlas grey metallic - £25,500 2 previous owners, full OPC service history, Porsche approved warranty until 22/01/2023, 63841 miles, 59 plate. This is my much loved daily drive, though now I'm working from home with 2 children and 3 cars, "daily" isn't really accurate. I love every second in this car, but it's just not getting used enough, so maybe it's time to go - we need to get down to two cars that are both capable of seating 4. Having said that, I'd rather keep it than accept any silly offers - there aren't many manual 3.4 gen 2s for sale these days! So, a bit of history: I bought this in Jan 2021 after hunting all over for a manual Gen2 3.4 with warranty. It's been really well looked after since new, with all services completed by Porsche main dealers, including the 12 year major service in September 2021. I've also recently had all discs/pads replaced (and most of the brake pipes) as well as getting the wheels refurbed and new PS2 tyres all round. The brake work was completed by RPM (well respected independent Porsche specialist in North Yorkshire), who have also replaced the lower rear suspension arms this year. The Porsche approved warranty runs to 22/01/23, but I believe that Porsche have extended the age of car that can be covered, so this could be extended by the new owner. I've had a couple of items replaced under warranty - front springs, electric window motor - and Porsche have always been brilliant. No questions or trying to weasel out of the repair like some other manufacturers that I've dealt with! It's in great condition - no blemishes on the bodywork, and drives perfectly. Some typical signs of minor age-related wear in the cabin, but you can see how tidy it is from the photos (it was a wet day!). Always carefully warmed up, only filled with high-octane fuel and never taken near a track in my ownership (or by the other 2 owners to my knowledge). It was fitted with the bog-standard (drivers spec!) CDR 30 - radio/CD, with no steering wheel controls. I still have this (included in the sale if I get asking price), but I've had a Sony touchscreen with Android Auto and handsfree mic professionally fitted, including the ridiculously expensive wiring loom needed on Bose cars! This is fully reversible, the old unit could easily be refitted if you want the stock look, but I think the Sony unit blends in pretty well, and you get the benefit of Google Maps via Android. The only other change from original is the pair of black Zunsport grilles that I had fitted to protect the rads. 987.2 Manual 18" Cayman SII wheels (wheels refurbed in 2022, and new N rated Michelin PS2 tyres all round) Atlas Grey metallic paint Heated black leather seats Cruise control Rear park assist Sport Chrono package (sport button, lap timer) Bose speaker system Bi-Xenon dynamic cornering lights PSM (no PASM or PSE) Three-spoke sports steering wheel All service books/stamps present, and receipts for every service Both keys Porsche floor mats Current mileage (in use, so may increase slightly): 63841 06-10-2022: 63494 miles (RPM Porsche) MOT, lower suspension arms, geometry 24-05-2022: 62664 miles, all wheels refurbished and new Michelin PS2 fitted 18-05-2022: 62638 miles (Porsche Leeds) New front springs (warranty) and bumpstops 23-09-2021: 60453 miles (Porsche Leeds) Major Service (12 year - includes oil, filters, spark plugs, and belt change) 13-07-2021: 59758 miles (RPM Porsche) New brake discs and pads all round.
