Caymanwhite
Can you be a bit more specific. What are you trying to protect? The existing lacquer? Stone Chips?
PMGPete
What you will need is Paint Protection Film. Check our Xpel or Suntek
barryb
Hi Thanks for the replies. The reason for the request is when washing the car on Sunday I noticed a chip in the clear headlight lens, with the cost of new lights I got a bit nervous and wondered if there was anything I can do to offer better protection to the plastic front of the unit. Pete when you say our Xpel or Suntek is that something you sell because I find that the only suppliers are in USA. thanks Barry
Founder Beanoir™ Posted July 18, 2017 Founder Share Posted July 18, 2017 Speak to the guys at Chipguard.co.uk They import the Suntek and Xpel products so may be able to help you, or cut some to the correct size from a roll.
Founder Beanoir™ Posted July 18, 2017 Founder Share Posted July 18, 2017 Or Xpel do ship their kits to the U.K. - works out about £75 for a set including shipping, which I don't think is too bad http://www.xpel.com/headlight-protection-kits/XPEL_North_America/Passenger_Cars_and_Light_Trucks/2012/Porsche/Cayman/S

PMGPete
Any detailer that offers PPF will be able to carry this out for you
barryb
Hi Managed to get a pre-cut set including fogs/side from a guy in Somerset, price was OK but as usual the killer was the postage to France. Expect them this week, then the fun of fitting them. Barry
