Wider wheels....do I need spacers?

Hi all

Off the  back of an earlier post, I've seen some wheel options (Fuchs, and Fuch lookalikes), which are 8.5" fronts and 10" rears....a bit wider than my standard Cayman S wheels (18").  Are spacers required, front and / or rear?

Cheers

Craig

Said with the intention of being helpful:

- it will depend on the ET (offset/inset) dimension of the the new wheel compared to your existing.

Without you knowing that it’s a bit like saying “l’m thinking of buying a new length of string, will it be longer than my existing one”.

Ask the vendor for the ET dimensions, whether the wheels will clear the the brakes together with the tyres sizes that will work within the arches.
