anon_uk
Hi all, I was taking out the rear light cluster today, so that I could change the brake bulb. However, while removing one of the 3 nuts (that hold the cluster) and dropped it somewhere I can't find it or see it. So, I have spent a lot of time looking on the internet looking for a replacement nut. Can anybody please tell me what the pat number is, or if there is a generic nut that can be used as a replacement? I appears to be some kind of hex nut with a flange. Many thanks
mike3105
OPC sell nuts and bolts for pence, no silly markup. You can see it on this diagram though: https://new.rosepassion.com/en/parts-porsche-cayman-987c-2006-eu-cayman-s-3-4-manual-gearbox-6-speed/lighting-335/3rd-rear-brake-light-596/actuator-597-4128-98437
jdavis8361
If it's an 8mm flange nut, most any bicycle shop or motorcycle shop will probably give you one for naught.
jdavis8361
I think I was wrong about the size. It's more likely a 4mm or 5mm nut. Just take one with you when you go to the shop so they can match it.
