Mavrik
Anyone fitted the Vogtland lowering springs on their Cayman 987.1 ? I have these fitted to my 350z GT & the ride quality is pretty good (if a little low!) so was thinking I may try them on my Porsche https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vogtland-Lowering-Performance-Springs-Porsche-Cayman-Type-987-incl-S-11-05/123104566808?fits=Car+Make%3APorsche|Model%3ACayman&hash=item1ca99a9e18:g:RAgAAOSwL9paxiY5
delmonteman
I've got them on mine. Bought the car with them fitted, so can't compare to standard. Ride's firm but not painful.
Mavrik
@delmonteman Cheers for the reply... Do you have any pics showing the ride height? The Vogtlands on my Zed mean I have to take great care when negotiating speed bumps etc due to being rather low! I do my own spannering but have heard horror stories of seized fasteners etc on the rear arms etc making it a bit of a faff fitting?
delmonteman
Not the best photo but you get the idea. Have to slow down for speed humps (only slow down, no crawling ) but I've never heard any scraping on even the biggest ones. No rubbing on the 19"s.
