Really like those, in that color. Let me know if they do a two for one. ?

Heard back from. They do not do the proper fitment for me and they are a tad heavy / as heavy as the standard ones so for me can't justify the expense

I'm verging towards Yokohama Advan TC3 (19lbs) import from Nungen directly from Japan (about 1500/set + tax)

I hear what you're saying re weights....I was in touch with this crowd re Fuch replicas....had some nice options but weighed more than my current alloys. They do offer some lighter weight options in other styles though, and will ship to the UK:

Right, yeah -- just my 2 cents here fro my research of the past weeks. Alloys shipped to here from the US might end up costing you over $500 in tax and shipping at a minimum, unless you go with some direct importer like Nungen and can strike some deal with (I am speaking to them to understand actual cost of the operation).

Now if you are hovering to 1800-2000 gbp that's getting closer to the real FUCHSFELGE budget (euro 2330+shipping from Twinspark in the Netherlands...or you could drive there and get them installed ;) ) https://www.twinsparkracing.com/shop/fuchs-18-inch-8-10-rsr-anodised/

FUCHSFELGE are the real deal and light, as light as Alleggerita's if I recall correctly. The only real reason I am not fitting those is that I don't want to have to deal with spacers and they do not come in the right fitting unfortunately.

Personally the only way I can man math myself into splashing over 1500 on a set of wheels (and they go up real quick if you look at stuff like CCW) is to gain something by adding less weight to the package. Hence Allegerita / search for sub 20lbs range alloy.

I also looked at Apex which does some stunning looking wheels bespoke for Cayman, but their 23 -24 lbs range is simply too close to the standard Cayman 18" for me to justify the expense

I like Allegerita but in my search the advan popped up and are quite close in weight and look a bit more exotic...similar to the legendary TE37 (17 abnd 18lbs) from VOLK RAYS...but I can't justify over £4,000 for a set...well maybe give me a couple years ahah ?
