Jonathan Chippindall Posted August 10, 2019 Share Posted August 10, 2019 Hi all, New here but after some help if possible... I have a bizarre intermittent fault with my 2006 Cayman. When I go to start it sometimes it sounds like it struggles to turn over. It turns over once or twice, doesn't start and then an odd whirring noise comes from the engine bay which lasts about 1-2 mins and turns off. It might do this a couple of times and then finally start. It is not the battery as the last time it happened I was at a garage so they connected a jump start pack and it did the same!
