sevenfourate
I’m going to do a thorough clean and then ‘protect’ myself. The seats look to be in really good condition, with minimal surface cracking / spidering in a couple of very small spots on the passenger side. So as much as anything I’m looking to ‘nourish’ after cleaning to keep them supple and fed. 1. Are the seats natural leather or ‘finished leather’ ? 2. Whats your favourite / the best Leather protector you’ve used ? ****I have some Gtechniq I2 Tri-Clean: all Surface / Interior - Anti Bacterial Cleaner here. Is that heavy duty enough for the cleaning part ? Thanks.
PMGPete
Modern leather is clear coated so no need to be fed. To clean it I would recommend Dr Leather wipes and then protect it with Gtechniq L1 leather guard
Rob66
I use Dr Leather wipes for the steering wheel but for the seat my preference is Leather Cleaner to my eyes leaves a better look to the leather £9.95 from CleanYourCar Edited June 10, 2020 by Rob66

Dodo-Juice Leather "kit". With cleaner + then a protector. And some dedicated specialist clothes. And a horse-hair brush. Cleaner was awesome. Protector looks and feels great, nice uniform matt finish - but doesn't seem to last long at all before it clearly starts to 'rub off'. Hence still looking ! Which one are you suggesting Rob ? https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=leather%20cleaner

timtom
I use pears soap which is ph neutral apply detailing brush wipe off with damp microfibre dries to a good matt finish even on steering wheels, then just seal with sealer of your choice. If it's good enough for your own skin!!
