Popular Post Red5
After the Carmine red 981 GTS, came the GT Silver 718 GTS 2.5T. These have now been followed by a Hyundai i30N Fastback Well sort of, as my girlfriend replaced her Macan, with a 991.2 C2S, then a 718 GTS 4.0 6sp. so we llasted a who,e two weeks with no Cayman GTS at home haha! An NA manual car is now a dying breed and we wanted one more, before it’s too late. Perhaps THIS one will become a keeper? This has now been fitted with some front grills and a new plate HE10 JPS for a bit of tobacco livery fun and to get rid of the age related article. Running in is a problem in lockdown, but the miles we have done have been really enjoyable. The suspension feels quite different to the 2.5 that came before it and the engine note, even under 4K is to die for.
Windymiller
Love the ‘retro’ JPS gold wheels / black paint look - was always my favourite F1 car in the early 80s and on the scalextric track 🏎😁👍🏻

I told them, that a swap to gold wheels was a deal breaker. It was just TOO much black! Black on black, with black wheels and all black badges on a GTS, that has blacked out light fittings already! They had another car with Satin Aurum wheels, so they made it happen, making sure the Michelin PS4S stayed on this car. No P-Zero this time yay! So we didn’t set out to have a retro tobacco advertising based car. really pleased with it though. Not that common at all. We’ve now had Cayman wheels in Platinum, Black and now Gold finishes. Just silver to go then it’s funny how the black/gold advertising colour scheme is now more synonymous with racing cars, than with cigarettes!
