Despite being a regular poster on here  since i bought my 987S in 2017 Ive never created a ‘car bio’ in this section, so here you are:

I bought the car in March 2017 from Cridfords Porsche Specialists @ 41,320 miles with registration AF10 HPP. The car currently has a personal registration that went on in February 2021.

August 2019 @ 56,342 miles Sachs clutch and Porsche OE DMF replacement @ DS Automotive Aylesbury.

 

August 2019 - DIY front pads replaced. 

 

March 2020 @ 58,348 miles (minor service + brake fluid + gearbox oil), front coolant pipes and hoses replaced, GT3 brake master cylinder fitted, BMC air filter fitted, ‘fast road’ geo @ Porschacare.

 

March 2020 wheels refurbished and leading-edge ‘gravel rash’ of lower-sills repainted @ Daytona Coachworx, Stevenage. 

 

May 2020 @ 59,517 miles water pump replaced with OE Porsche part @ DS Automotive. 

 

July 2020 - DIY front & rear pads and front discs replacement. 

 

July 2020 - DIY ‘trunk-clunk’ fix

 

November 2020 - DIY replacement of left side rear silencer PSE valve vacuum actuator. 

 

February 2021 front & rear bumpers removed, stripped of all trim parts and repainted to remove stone chips and ‘gravel’ rash by Spray Smart, Aylesbury. 
 

February 2021 - DIY replacement of right side rear silencer PSE valve vacuum actuator and left side front fog light. 

February 2021 - 2-stage machine polish paint correction, attachment of ‘PORSCHE’ side decals, professional detail and application of 2-coat ceramic coating to paintwork, wheels, windows, interior by Vivid Element detailing (Haddenham, Bucks - https://www.vividelement.co.uk/)

 

March 2021 @ 64,561 miles (major service + brake fluid), aircon service @ Porschacare. 
 

May 2021 @~66k miles x2 new front MPS4S tyres fitted. 

 

July 2021 @ 68,000 miles suspension survey and geometry check & adjustment @ Centre Gravity.

 

July 2021 @ 68,128 miles both front condensers replaced with MAHLE parts and aircon regassed @ DS Automotive. 

 

August 2021 @ 68,628 miles minor suspension refresh, including: front top mounts (Lemforder), front ARB drop link (Lemforder) & front bump-stop; rear coffin arms (MEYLE), rear ARB drop links (MEYLE HD) and rear Cayman R ARB and geo set up @ DS Automotive. 
 

March 2022 @ 70,945 x4 Good Year Eagle F1 tyres (N0 rears, normal fronts - couldn’t find N0 stock in U.K.)

March 2022 @ 71080 - booked in at JGC Porsche Brackley for following works:

minor service (Millers nanodrive 5w-40) + brake fluid (RBF600) change + front pads (textar) & discs (pagid cross-drilled) + rear pads (textar).
