GregD2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 I upgraded the standard halogen H7 dipped beam bulbs with an HID kit which I managed to install within the headlight unit (no drilling holes for wires to pass through) from here: http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/h7-canbus-terminator-hid-xenon-conversion-kit-dipped-beam/ I also upgraded the rear numberplate light units with these: http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/xtec-18-smd-12v-number-plate-led-units-porsche-vw/ I can vouch for both products and the service of HIDS-Direct (not on commission ). Pretzel Posted August 28, 2016 Share Posted August 28, 2016 If you don't go down the HID route that Greg suggests, on most cars the bulb of choice seems to be the Osram Nightbreaker. Night and day, no pun intended...
