987, Cayenne S and soon a 718

Hi, just joined the forum. Went for my first Porsche in 2007. Stepped in the local Porsche Centre with a small heart to check out a boxster and there it was, the 987 Cayman, could not get my eyes away from it, love at first sight. I spent 2 seconds looking at the boxster and more than an hour drewling on a Basalt black Cayman. Few months later I was enjoying the best ride of my life. Couldn't afford much options and chose for quality above quantity with Basalt black, Carrera S alloys, sport exhaust and a Bose sound system. This baby made heads turn and shone like a diamant. In 2012 it was time to sell my baby and buy the misses a nice family car which was a Benz ML, AMG edition, which was also a fantastic car which we enjoyed a lot and I settled for a C coupé of the same make. Last year it was time to sell on the Benz and I bought a Cayenne S for the misses in Jet black with plenty of options. Really fantastic car. And now the time has come for me to re-enter the CAYMAN AREA. Spend hours and hours going through the option list, doubted for weeks between Jet black and Rhodium Silver and finally decided it will be a Rhodium Silver 718 with black Carrera S alloys, black exaust sport pipes, sport chrono, black leather sport plus seats with Porsche logo, Bose sound system, park assist and board computer and to top it off a nice chrome fuel cap  Boy, am I looking forward to delivery date! Hope to have lots of fun here and enjoy pics and stories of your Cayman experiences.

Welcome Typhoon, exciting times waiting for a new 718!  When is the expected delivery date??

May or June, I paid my deposit early January, the wait is just agony

 

My local PC only has very limited slots for the new Cayman. If you order now you are already looking at September delivery dates. Bonus is that they will not hit the streets in large numbers here and will be pretty exclusive.
