R Drivetrain shunt?

Recommended Posts

Chaps,

A couple of weeks into R-ownership so still getting used to it.

I’ve noticed a very slight amount of what I’d describe as drive train shunt/backlash approaching junctions/roundabouts.

PDK box in D at normal traffic speeds.

Its almost as if the  box is a fraction too slow and is catching up as you roll to a halt.

Not enough to cause concern but definitely a raised eyebrow.

Is this a thing or am I over thinking it?

Could it be an LSD thing?

Discuss.

No. It’s doing it’s thing as it should (changing down as you slow) but, just as you come to a halt it’s slmost as if the last down change is a fraction too slow resulting in a slight clunkyness from the rear end.
