      Title: FROM 100 TO 0 KM/H: THE 50 BEST-BRAKING CARS

Always a contentious point of debate on the Cayman, but this is interesting.

Both of the previous generations are in the top 40 of the best braking cars, up against some impressive machines.

  • Tidy 987.2 for sale

Saw this in the CABO UK Facebook group just now and thought it looked a lot tidier than most at that price if there's anyone out there looking.

    Twin turbo 2.7 Cayman

My 2.7 is getting the TT treatment in the next few months. So I thought I'd start the post to document the install.  Popped it on the dyno yesterday to get a baseline.   If anyone has any upgrade suggestions they'd like to recommend I'd appreciate it.  I'm planning on a clutch upgrade but haven't started looking yet.  Also toying woth the idea of an aluminium flywheel.

    Upgrade to brake disks

Hi gang.    Looking for recommendations for upgrading brake disks on 987 CS for road and track use.   I had Brembo disks with DS2500 pads and braided hoses last time but the disks have completely worn and cracked with only road use so looking for better please.  Cheers  Kai

Pretty stock at the moment but looking to change that a little before I take her out on track in the summer. Would be great to connect with any other owners from London who user theirs on track and also road trips, Sunday drives etc so hit me up if you live in the London area and are like-minded. Would be great to run my ideas past you if you have done similar things with your Cayman as

  • Porsche Myths Busted: Car Insurance & N-rated Tyres

There will be many eyes rolling at the title I'm sure and much has been written on many an internet forum on the topic of N-rated tyres.   But I'm not here to enter the murky depths of whether an N-rated tyre has a different rubber compound to it's non-rated equivalent, nor am I going to make any claims as to the performance differences and whether by not using N-rated tyres you will find yourself in a ditch one day.     Today, I'm focussing on something more specific, and answering th
