  • Track day towing strap

Has anyone fitted these to their cars for a trackday? Are the metal eye ones with a bolt ok or am I better with a strap. Only trouble with a strap I guess is that the mounting plate has to be external to the bumper.

    Cayman R PSE

So I've decided my CR really is missing a sports exhaust, and going to treat myself for Christmas..    I've considered the Carnewal route but I think I'd like to stick with the OEM route.     Has as anybody retrofitted PSE to their CR? Price wise I'm guessing it's c.£2k?    One thing that I'm worried about is making sure that if I take it into my OPC that it's the CR sports exhaust rather than a standard Cayman sports exhaust, am I worrying unnecessarily??

    Prices......

Evening All. Has anyone noticed that the gen 1 prices appear to be creeping up? I've just done a search on some well know car advertising sites and they have gone up quite a bit from 6 months ago. Could this be a knock on effect from the gen 2 holding their prices so well? Interested to hear people's thoughts. Thanks.

Hunting for my first Porsche: A Cayman 987.2

Hi guys,   Good to be here! I’m not yet a Cayman owner but if the car gods look favourably on me I hope to find a tasty 987.2 in the next few months. I say months because I’ve noticed the market is very slim, though I’d love to find the one ASAP. Getting itchy feet! I’m opening this post up to ask some advice anyway, and also in case anyone sees anything half decent worth flagging - would be much appreciated! Here goes:   Know condition is top over spec and colour but anyone

  • Porsche Myths Busted: Car Insurance & N-rated Tyres

There will be many eyes rolling at the title I'm sure and much has been written on many an internet forum on the topic of N-rated tyres.   But I'm not here to enter the murky depths of whether an N-rated tyre has a different rubber compound to it's non-rated equivalent, nor am I going to make any claims as to the performance differences and whether by not using N-rated tyres you will find yourself in a ditch one day.     Today, I'm focussing on something more specific, and answering th
