Popular Post Equinox
Hi guys. As you may have followed I recently replaced my manifolds and bought this jig to help with the enevitable issue with snapping bolts on removal. Used on a 987.1 2.7 litre. I'm now loaning this out to fellow porsche owners who also want to undertake this job but don't want to buy something that gets used once and costs a lot. So I'm renting my jig out for £50 delivered to you. For this I also need a £300 deposit which will be returned on safe return of the jig. That basicly covers the cost of the jig itself just incase someone decides to try and keep it. Have already rented it to a couple of owners who both snapped at least 4 bolts when taking the manifolds off. So this kit easily pays for itself 10x's over when this happens. Its very very easy to use and comes with everything you need to successfully extract and retap any snapped exhaust studs. Will also print and include the instructions for the website. Woodhouse
You could try your local OPC and see if they have a factory tool they might lend you. My OPC has loaned me a special tool in the past.
