Popular Post Shank
Hi all, Very excited about my first Cayman, first Porsche and first car. Picked up the 987.1 S in Basalt Black 11 days ago and it’s put a big smile on my face. As a newbie, are there things I should and shouldn’t do that people don’t know about? Regards, Shank

Rob66
Very nice congrats. I don't use one as much as I should. I am pretty new to Cayman ownership as well. But a couple of things worth a mention, others will chip in. Try not to let the battery drain, when mine did I had a minor panic when lots of warning messages appeared. I now have a CTEC charger that I always have plugged in when I can. On the subject of batteries I have found water in my battery tray so worth checking regularly. When you wash the car always lift both the bonnet and the hatch as a surprising amount of water gets into the trunk so worth drying off under there. Enjoy Rob Edited February 14, 2020 by Rob66
