The problem is that you can only overtake with consent and there was no way I could out drag a GT3 in the straights. Diving down inside will never be an option for me on a general track day. Absolutely, safety first. I just can't understand why some drivers don't look in their mirrors and wonder why they can't shake off the car behind. It's not a race!

 

Anywho, looks and sounds like a top day out.

I was there on the 24th in my Cayman R. The conditions were good, but the mix of driving was err.. interesting. That white GT3 seemed to be a pool car, maybe some driving experience type thing. Occasionally you'd come across it apparently parking up on an apex. I can't say I was quite as patient as you
