OBD Reader for DME

Afternoon all,

First post here as I'm a newbie here looking to buy my first Porsche. I am going to view a few cars this weekend and for reference I'm looking at a 987.2. I am keen to check the over revs for the vehicles I'm potentially buying but need to buy the kit in order to do it. I've got a bluetooth OBDII and an app on my phone at the moment but that doens't seem to cut it when it comes to checking DME & over revs.

Doing some research I know Durametric offer a solution and also the Foxwell NT530 seems to be a candidate too.

Does anyone know of any others or have any recommendations?

Thanks!

I wouldn't bother checking the type-based over revs... The service history will be far more important.  Every manual car will have hit the limiter at some point.
