That's a lovely looking car. I'm looking for a basalt black 2.9 so yours is a bit much for me (both the engine and the price) but hope you have loads of interest. A shame cos i'm only 20-odd miles away and i'd snap it up if i could.

What's your budget? Although it's a reluctant sale it's also a kinda desperate one.

It was a particularly nice one. Still looking for on that meets your criteria.

Yes, still actively looking Julian.  👍

There was a one owner 25k miles car that looked promising a month or so ago but when it came to service history it was lacking again, only having 3 services in 14 years when it should have had 7.

It’s right up my street but way too much money, MR had it before at £30k which with a dealer warranty imo was still expensive.

Yes, and looks like somebody has had a change of mind, for whatever reason, and is trying to recover their costs - shame.  🙁

I was in that boat last year, paid £28k for a loaded S and then sold it after 3 months for £25.5k. Unfortunately the private sales market at this level on a used Cayman is unrealistic, I personally would rather pay a premium for peace of mind from a reputable specialist dealer.

soup of the day, mint. If only auto it could have been the one for Alan.

Looks mint as you say Julian but that interior ....................................... an acquired taste I think, and not mine!  😆

A Gen. 1 car so any interested parties should check for potential IMS and bore scoring issues as per the norm for these 3.4 engines.

was that a standard colour option at the time?

Reserved!

Looks like Ruby Red metallic and was certainly a standard colour on the Gen. 2 cars but not sure about the Gen .1 models.

That went quick! - then again it is rather lovely.  Surprised it was a standard colour on Gen 2s as I don't think I have seen any in that colour before.

I do like the silver's on all the cayman variants. I nearly bought a gt silver one but it had the pdk buttons which along with a few other negatives i ended up walking.  I still do think silver looks amazing though
