Popular Post Popeye
Hello, folks. Just joined the forum and thought I better introduce myself. Bought my first porsche in August in the form of a 987.1 2.7 with 13k on the clock at time of purchase. Loving every mile in it so far. Since owning it I've had it serviced, brake/clutch fluid changed, h&r springs fitted, 19" sport design wheels, 7mm/15mm wheel spacers, windows tinted, after market head unit with all the bells and whistles intalled and steering wheel retrimmed by royals. Regards Andy.
Blissya
Welcome 👍🏻 Looks good, that’s seriously low mileage. Hope you enjoy getting out in it. I’ve also had the Royal retrain, alcantara as I wasn’t a fan of the smooth leather + sweaty mits when pressing on. what head unit did you get? That’s on my list to do, mainly for Apple CarPlay and better radio with DAB
Andy
Looks lovely, amaing what a well spaced set of wheels can do to the looks of a car!
Popeye
@Blissya I can't remember the model number of the head unit, but it was a pioneer that i had fitted. As for the steering wheel, i went for full leather, smooth top and bottom and perforated on the sides.
Popeye
@Andy yes, they really make a difference. Im quite happy with it now. Contemplating going for the Carnewal GT exhaust for it nearer the summer. Anyone had any experience with them?

Have heard one done on the CaymanR and it sounded fantastic.
Blissya
With Carnewal, you can get it delivered and installed by your own garage but it’s a good excuse for a trip to Belgium. I enjoyed doing that and combining it with a couple of nights in Bruges. Gert is great to deal with and I’ve been pleased with the exhaust over the standard non PSE one.
