Estoril Posted October 15, 2016 Share Posted October 15, 2016 OK, so it was a brief but sweet relationship, I bought the R in April and it is being replaced shortly by a 991 Carrera S. I love the Cayman R but it's too similar to my other cars in terms of the way it is used and what I really needed was something a little more "every day", I know, a 991 is hardly a workhorse but it's much more usable day to day and interestingly doesn't feel as precious as the R and so with a heavy heart I bid ye farewell.... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't see me getting rid of mine for a long time, the R is the perfect weekend and road trip car for me personally. 991S is a good choice - for a daily driver, I'm guessing?? Estoril Posted October 19, 2016 Author Share Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) No, I realise I may have gotten around £2k more private IF I had been prepared to wait.....but I'm afraid I am an an impatient type so I decided to take the easy way and PX, I did try on a couple of private forums but they were offering the same as the PX within a few hundred so I decided to forgo the hassle.
