Don’t know if it has become a format of the website (when viewed on mobile device), or some setting I can change on my phone, but in the past week when I read posts google ads keeps popping up on the screen and in banners that cover the post content.

Anyone else experiecing this?

am I just being an IT numpty and  is this is something I can ‘switch off’ somewhere on my iPhone SE (I know, a quaint/retro ‘antique’ now...)?

Same here, the Ad blocks out part of the text, Google “allows” the Ad to be removed but still retains a blank rectangle blocking out the post. Refresh the post and the Ad changes to another Ad and still blocks out the part of the post.

HELP?

If you’re referring to the drop down Google ads from the top menu they can be dismissed and only a thin grey line should then show without obscuring content.

If it’s appearing more than a banner cover for some folks then do take a screen shot and post so we can look into it, we need to balance revenue to keep the club and website running with member experience.  All your feedback is important :)

It might be that for smaller/older mobile devices more of the screen is obscured.

We've amended the ad settings to hopefully remove the 'in-text' ads.  Completely agree they ruin the experience of using the website and forum.
