Could you post a good photo of what they look like? Then we can keep a look out for some.

Oh... and also the width and offset front and rear.

Thanks, they are just the standard 5 spoke 17" wheels that came on the 2.9 cayman, will try and find a pic and update the post.  There are some on eBay but collection only and an 8 hour round trip!!

No I believe they are the boxster 17" wheels which were an option on the Cayman.  I'd consider those as well, but the one I'd ideally like are these

Go get 'em!?

Look at his completed listings. Sold his 987 cover in October, doesn't sell car bits often. I'd guess he's sold the car maybe, so offer low? Ask him why he's selling first perhaps?

Thanks, I have already enquired about them.  Unfortunately he won't post them, and its an 8 hour return trip for me and just don't have the time right now. It would write off a complete day of my weekend, so either I accept that or wait for some to come up a bit closer!

In this situation I often offer to have the item collected by my courier. Not sure who would collect wheels though? O.o

Maybe: http://www.senditnow.com

I did ask about courier but unfortunately he said no, due to no packaging and risk of damage.  Fair enough I guess but a bit of a pain for me!
