The pedal is flat to the floor. You can pull it back into position but it sinks straight down again as soon as you press it again. Apologies for the delay; waited 6 hours roadside whilst the RAC "tried" to find somebody to rescue me. Facing a night in a country lane layby, I arranged my own recovery. That's been replaced although a new clutch, along with slave cylinder had been fitted only 2500 miles ago (2018).
