Cayman & Coffee Meets, Road Trips..??

Recommended Posts

There isn't anything listed on the Meet Ups forum - just wondered if there are better places to get info about Cayman/Porsche meets?

Would be interested to see what a CarnewalGT exhaust sounds like in person, plus have a look around other interesting cars etc.. or just go for a spin.

I'm based in Kent/SE London but an excuse to do a bit of mileage is probably a good thing.

Yeah I've found the diary a little lacking on here since I joined too, no criticism to anyone, things are hard to organise. PCGB always have loads going on. I also got lucky and found a very exclusive local Porsche club near me in South Herts, run by private individuals, I found them at a local classic car show. So if you go out to such things you might get lucky and find something similar local to you. Also find loads of groups on Instagram if that's your thing, again usually small private invite only set-ups, but if you add people and ask them if you can join their meets they can only say yes or no! I found a general car group in Kent that way. I'd have come to meet you myself but I just had a baby so not much time to socialise unfortunately!

PCGB have an annual income of over £1m from its 20,000 paying members and employed staff whose jobs are to arrange corporate standard events.

the COC is run by 3 guys on a shoestring… (and we salute them 🫡 )

Feel free to initiate your own meet ups in your local areas with other members on here - it’s how it used to happen pre-covid. If you want it to happen, make it… 👍🏻

3 kids and a full time job - I don't want extra hassle of organising stuff myself, just turn up and selfishly enjoy..

COC only run by three people?  Well done to those, going to buy some merch to support them right now..

Superb Job.

PCGB London region hold regular monthly meets. They hold a morning meet every 3rd Sunday of the month on Stour Road near Stratford in East London. You don’t need to be a member to attend just park up and enjoy the local coffee/breakfast, more details can be found on their Facebook page
