Windymiller
And now another ‘gremlin’. Last week radio worked fine. This week can’t get reception on any station, on any frequency band. Basically sounds like like there’s no aerial connected as I can just pick up a faint and garbled signal across the presets. So im presuming the (windscreen) aerial has become disconnected somewhere, somehow. Any pointers on where to start? Is there an ‘obvious’ connection lead off the bottom of the screen that I can check? im hoping that with the recent ice, then melting, it’s just ‘disturbed’ the connection somehow. Im beginning to think these Porsche’s are quite ‘fragile little princesses...’?? so far in 9 months of ownership I’ve had 2 new tyres (punctures), a new windscreen (cracked when arm slapped down when changing blades), a new wiper arm this week (splines stripped when operated whilst frozen), I need new rear springs and rear coffin arms in January, and now a non-working Radio. Maybe it’s just the weather and ‘she’ needs wrapping up and putting away November to March? ?

Trickle
Does it still play up after turning car off, locking doors and starting car again? Checked the windscreen aerial connection?

Checked the windscreen aerial connection? I’ll try that when back at the car - it’s in a station car park now till Friday. Where is the aerial connection to the screen? Somewhere in the battery tray compartment? Cheers Jason
Founder Beanoir™ Posted December 22, 2017 Founder Share Posted December 22, 2017 Aerial connection should be on the edge of the screen, its cover by the plastic a-pillar cover. How are you getting on with it Jason, still having reception issues?

Could have been lose though or slightly damaged when fitted...?

But welcome - nothing to fix.

Having been left for 3 days and obviously turning off, locking doors and then returning to and opening and restarting seems to have rid her of the gremlins strangely... ???
