Luke
2009 Porsche Cayman Manual in Basalt Black. I've had the car since July 2016 and it's been a fantastic car to own and drive in that time, reluctant sale but I currently have the need for something with a couple more seats. The car has just ticked over 60,000 miles, but has had the care and maintenance to keep it as tight as a drum and a real joy to drive. Specification: - Original 18 Inch Boxster II Alloy Wheels, professionally refurbished in Gloss Black in September 2017. - Heated Black Leather seats in perfect condition, not a mark or any wear to speak of. - Factory fitted grey highlights on wing mirrors and matching grey seatbelts. - Basalt Black paint in fantastic condition for the cars age, just the usual areas of minor stone chipping on the front bumper and behind the doors. - Steering wheel professionally retrimmed in Alcantara by Royal Steering Wheels. - HPI clear, two keys and all documentation provided. Service History: - Main Dealer service history until 2013, followed by specialist independent garages. - Last Major Service in March 2017 with Revolution Porsche at 55,860 miles. - £2,400 spent in March 2017: Spark Plugs replaced Drive Belt replaced Sachs Clutch and Flywheel replaced Pagid Front Discs, pads and sensors replaced Pagid Rear Discs, pads and sensors replaced Brake fluid change - Minor Service and health check carried out by CMS Porsche in September 2017 at 59,279 miles. - Front Tyres replaced in May 2017 and Rears replaced in September 2017. Michelin Pilot Sports on all four corners. - MOT until June 2018, with only advisory being tyres (which have been replaced since). DJMC
Hi Luke, looks good. Buyers may be curious as to why the major service in March 2017 at 55,860 miles was followed by a minor service in September 2017 at 59,279 miles? Good luck with the sale. The car was in with an independent specialist (CMS Porsche) in September to have the driver's side window regulator replaced, so I had a minor service at the same time. It had been 6 months so no harm in an oil change and health check up whilst it was in Thanks, Luke
DJMC
Now that shows a good deal of care, having an oil change just to be on the safe side. Excellent.
Buggyjam
That’s a lovely car, well cared for. Well priced for a gen 2. Would think it would sell quickly. Did you get any joy?

Did you get any joy? Hi, thanks for your comment. I thought it was very well priced, I wanted a quick sale because there was another car I had my eye on so priced it accordingly, but no luck so far, haven't got any serious interest at all really. Very surprising, however I haven't listed it on eBay, Autotrader, etc. It's just on here and the Porsche Facebook groups I'm a member of, didn't want the hassle that usually accompanies public listings, but looks like I'm going to need to. The car I was interested in has now sold so not in that much of a rush anymore, I might wait until summer and then have another serious go at trying to sell it. In the meantime I'm getting out and enjoying it, out on a very cold Evo Triangle today

Granted that is price to buy from a garage, but they’ve not depreciated much since then. Prob need to advertise on something like PHeads. I can’t see me wanting to swap mine, but if I did I’d always thought I’d just take the hit and part ex with a specialist like Ash-good on a 981 and cut out the agony of dealing with Joe public. I found selling cars like my Peugeot 206 a challenge with the man off the street. Let alone a Porsche . All the endless texts asking diabolically stupid questions, test pilots and chancers. People who want to test drive, utter something about having insurance (3rd party only) but will promptly overrev the engine and leave the clutch on the floor. Had one woman buying my old Peugeot 206 who said she’d buy it but would have it fully vetted by a garage and if any faults found she’d want the appropriate amount back. This was a £500 car . It was a polite no from me ha. Couldn’t imagine with a Porsche, all the silly questions and attempts to knock off price on a 10-14 year old motor cos it’s got a few stone chips etc. Nah, couldn’t be bothered ha. Glad you’re keeping her for now anyway! Edited February 11, 2018 by Buggyjam

Munch197
Wish this was around when I was looking for mine last year. Looks a screamer, I'd have jumped on it (not in the physical sense ?) Selling my VW T5 was bad enough with daft questions on eBay etc but there is such a good audience, it's the go to place for most people to be honest. All the best with the sale. Andy
I'm currently trying to sell my old daily on eBay... it is the last time I bother! Car sold last week, meant to be collected this morning, buyer messages me to let me know there has been an emergency and can't buy it anymore. Bloody annoying. Luke
This is for sale again if anyone is interested. £16,
GlosRich
Well cheap for a Gen2 that's had the clutch, flywheel and brakes all changed. Good luck with the sale. Paid £17500 for mine with 54k miles. Although I did a WBAC quote on mine recently and it was something like £12500! Trade obviously likes a lot of money across Porsches in case of repairs.
