Popular Post morghen
Here is your typical run of the mill nothing special Cayman 2.7. Got this to replace my 924 turbos. This engine sounds nice, car is nice and firm. Safety nets like ABS and PSM are nice to have. Car is very well balanced from every point of view. Tiptronic can be used as a clutchless manual and then the car feels truly quick but the grunt from cruising speed is quite lacking compared to the 924 turbos is had before. But I like it, so I took it on a 3000km trip. I used to do this with my 924 turbos quite a lot, with the longest trip being 5000km. The cayman did ok, with the oil consumption being an issue and actually causing a check engine light to come on because of decreasing cat efficiency as the burned oil was coating the cat on the inside. They don't make them like before...that's for sure. The 924s were 40 years old and did not sweat for similar trips. But its nice to have AC [/url]

Popular Post morghen
Yes, Europe. First two pictures are on the hill next to my home city....although Romania is beautiful you probably don't want to come around here just yet as there are plenty of more impressive things to see out west. We do have some spectacular mountains and probably the best mountain road in the world but its really far away from ANYTHING. Anyway, the mountain shots are in Austria on the high alpine road. Look for Alpenstrasse and you've got it. Its really nice, I've been around the Alps with my Porsches for the last 10 years or so and the Alps are really nice to drive trough. Also picture friendly :) This summer I went to Croatia, driving up and down the lower part of the coast is fantastic...especially if you get to drive at sunset...its magic. Then from Croatia I went trough Slovenia which is also very nice. Then spent some time in Austria and finally visited some friends in Germany. I also recommend the Swiss and Italian Alps, I've been on the Stelvio pass and it is really really nice, close to the Romanian Transfagarasan. You may have seen these roads on TopGear. 1
