Popular Post Number21
Hi everyone I've recently acquired a meteor grey 987.2 S, replacing my 996 C4S. Thought I'd say hi. Car is pretty much perfect spec for me - black leather, sport and sport plus, sport chrono, PSE, non-PASM (want to keep passive shocks and set up properly down the line), no sunroof, no wiper, PCM 3.0, etc etc. I don't care for cruise control and the only thing I'd have added is the extended leather. I have to decide whether I like the car - my C4S I had a love/hate relationship with - but already have a list of to-dos: - Find a sport design wheel. Unfortunately I'm in London so went for PDK; so far so good but paddles would improve the experience somewhat. - Lower the damn thing, it looks like a mini 4x4 with non-PASM. Think I'll try lowering springs and spacers first, then maybe coilovers - it's quite a leggy car so wouldn't be surprised if the shocks will need updating. - Get some protective film on the lights, maybe KI studios headlight trim - Zunsports grills - had these on the 996, but they look much more prominent on the Cayman so maybe will try a DIY for behind grills - Cargo nets - if anyone has these for sale, let me know, as mine is AWOL - Wheels. Looking for Volk TE37, may have to import from Japan - Track down one of the previous owners. They owned the car for a large percentage of it's life, and had a personalised plate which is now on a newer Cayman. I'm missing some invoices so would really like their help in getting these from Porsche, as nearly the whole service history is Porsche OPC Looking forward to getting familiar with the folks here, always enjoy the forum vibe. If anyone here is also an enthusiast of inline 5 Audis could talk all day about those as well! Sorry for the terrible picture. Haven't had a chance to take proper photos.

Ben
Welcome, great looking Cayman! You'll find lots of info regarding the mods you are looking at on the forum. I'd definitely recommend the H&R lowering springs and spacers. The only other thing you've missed off the list is the Carnewal GT exhaust 😉😁👍

Awesome! Thanks - I'll pick of these up. @Ben I'm actually finding the PSE quite quiet. Some exhaust mods might be down the line. My old C4S was way louder!
