Remapping in the UK

Recommended Posts

Afternoon all,

im going to order some de-cat manifolds for my 987.1 2.7, obviously the car will need a remap to make the most of them and also remove the EML caused by the lack of cat’s,

however, info on the net for these cars being mapped is very few and far between, so who have you guys used?

hartech seems to be an option?

Hi Samp,

I would take a look at Parr below. Long standing Porsche specialists with a long motorsport history. Haven't used them personally but seem to have a very good reputation in Porsche ECU remaps.

Yes, I had seen them too, but again trying to find reviews is hard to come by, I guess it may just be a case of calling around and finding out from each company their process as such

Softronic is a very safe bet.  Scott will take good care of you.

Would echo this one too. From my research a lot of people have reported good things about them. They are US based though, and presumably you want a custom map based on your mods. Suspect this would be sortable if you get in touch with them though.

I went the DMS route a few years ago down here, bespoke maps and own rolling road, I sense checked the numbers with Regal Motorsport not long after (also on the coast near Southampton, also have their own rolling road), numbers pretty much bang on (post Carnewal GT install)
