Low res screen is a real disappointment. As for not having a good sound system in a sports car, think somebody is getting confused with track cars. I got an AA Kenwood unit about 4 years ago (with a reversing camera) and it's without a doubt the best decision I ever made during my ownership. Looks good! Far better to have a correct automotive grade screen coating in the first case. I suspect the brightness isn't great for the application, either. Adding a matte layer on top is only going to make that worse. For the money, it's probably still a decent solution. But I think the poster above is right.
