graham.reeds
My steering wheel has started to squeak when turning it. What part is likely to be squeaking and is it user serviceable? If not how much would Porsche charge for the privilege?
Andrea
Check your power steering fluid reservoir and add Pentosin if needed (make sure you get the right one for your car!) If this is the case the most likely your squeaking noise will go away, but that then indicates the possibility of a small leak somewhere. The power steering fluid cap is under the engine cover, near the intake manifolds. Easy to access. Anything else you'll need a specialist to look into it, no need to go to main dealer... Lennym1984
Mine squeaked where the steering column passes through the bulk head. A squirt of silicone spray and it's been fine ever since. This was a very faint/light squeak. Another causes of squeaks/groans/graunches can be the top mounts (easily DIYable). You need to do a bit of investigation... Aaron
As Lenny says, my top mounts squeaked a lot when I first got my CR. It sounded like a dying parrot. It had been sat for quite a long time. I sprayed some grease into the top mounts every other day for a week; it eventually went away and never came back.
graham.reeds
Appears it is not reliant on the engine running. Can you show me where is sprayed your lube? PXL_20240124_125924175.LS.mp4
Aaron
Mine didn't sound like that with such small movements. Can you identify exactly where the noise is coming from with a cone or tube on your ear?
graham.reeds
Sounds like it is in the cabin.

Mine was much fainter/quieter than that but you can try the silicone spray. Look under the dashboard and follow the steering column down. Spray silicone around the bit where it passes through the bulkhead. If you see any other potential rubbing spots, give it a squirt there too - it won't hurt. I don't have a photo of the location but if you go and take a look, I'm sure you will find it. Might not cure your problem but for 5 minutes work, I guess it is worth a go
