Sweepus
Hi - I’ve got a Gen2 Cayman S which has developed an annoying rattle somewhere behind me. I know these are sports cars so will rattle a bit but does anyone know what the issue might be? I’ve tried loosing/tightening the boot spring things but that hasn’t worked. Any help appreciated ! Mavrik
I believe there are ballast weights in the tailgate that can rattle... Was common on the Cayman 987.1. Maybe remove the tailgate trim etc and investigate?

There is a good thread on how to fix all 987 boot / tailgate rattles… disassembly etc. I can’t find it right now as I am at work but sure you will find if you search on this forum… HTH.
